Welcome to Lumbre, a recipe site born from flavor, curiosity, and a late-night fridge raid. I’m Carmen Leung, born and raised in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. Lumbre started one quiet evening when I threw together random ingredients, and the dish came out surprisingly amazing. That moment lit a spark, a realization that food doesn’t need rules, just heart, flavor, and a little bit of boldness.
The name Lumbre means flame in Spanish, and that’s exactly what this site is about: that first spark of inspiration in the kitchen that leads to something warm, delicious, and memorable.
