- 6 pieces Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ cup Raisins
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs toasted
- 1 package Phyllo dough
- ½ cup Butter melted
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with 4 more sheets, stacking them.
Spread the toasted breadcrumbs over the phyllo dough, leaving a border around the edges.
Place the apple mixture on top of the breadcrumbs. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and roll it up.
Place the strudel on a baking sheet and brush the top with more melted butter.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool before serving.
