Apple Turnovers
Delicious homemade apple turnovers with a flaky crust and sweet apple filling.

Turnover Ingredients
- 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced Use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
- ¼ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1 package Puff pastry, thawed 2 sheets
- 1 Egg, beaten For egg wash
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut each into 4 squares.
Place apple mixture in the center of each square. Fold over to form triangles and seal edges with a fork.
Brush with beaten egg and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
