Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ziti pasta
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the marinara sauce, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
