Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef stew meat cut into cubes
  • 1 cup Lentils rinsed
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. 3. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. 4. Stir in the lentils, beef broth, diced tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the beef is tender and the lentils are cooked.
  6. 6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
