Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter melted
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, if using. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
