Bolognese Sauce Recipe
A rich and hearty Bolognese sauce perfect for pasta.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup whole milk
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Pour in the red wine and let it simmer until reduced by half.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the milk and let it simmer for another 30 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve over your favorite pasta.
