Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the buttermilk, lemon juice, vanilla extract, flour, and salt until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
