- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the buttermilk, lemon juice, vanilla extract, flour, and salt until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until the pie is set and lightly browned on top.
Let the pie cool before serving.
