Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • ½ cup Soy sauce
  • ½ cup Vinegar
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine the chicken, soy sauce, and vinegar. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the onion, garlic, black peppercorns, bay leaves, and water to the pot.
  3. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is tender.
  4. 4. Remove the lid and let it simmer for another 10 minutes to reduce the sauce.
  5. 5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
