Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
- 2 tablespoon Butter
1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the chicken pieces and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Stir in the milk to form a dough. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the boiling broth.
4. Reduce the heat and simmer until the dumplings are cooked through, about 10 minutes. Add the frozen peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
