Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine wild rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Add diced chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked through.
  3. 3. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot.
