Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken breast sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • ½ cup Red onion sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2. Add sliced chicken breast to the bowl and coat well with the marinade.
  3. 3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. 4. Warm the pita bread in a separate pan or microwave.
  5. 5. Assemble the gyros by placing cooked chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and tzatziki sauce on the pita bread.
  6. 6. Fold the pita bread and serve immediately.
