Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 cups Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Celery sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 cup Noodles optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
  2. 2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the salt, pepper, and thyme. If using noodles, add them now and cook until tender.
  5. 5. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
