Chicken Tinola Recipe
A comforting Filipino chicken soup with ginger, green papaya, and chili leaves.

Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken cut into serving pieces
- 1 piece Green Papaya peeled and sliced
- 2 cups Chili Leaves
- 1 piece Onion chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece Ginger julienned
- 5 cups Water
- 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
- to taste Salt and Pepper
1. In a pot, sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger.
2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
3. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Add the green papaya and cook until tender.
5. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper.
6. Add the chili leaves and cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
