Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 6 slices bread, cubed
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk, salt, and dry mustard. Mix well.
In a greased baking dish, layer the bread cubes, cooked sausage, and cheese.
Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
