- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ cup Sugar
- 8 slices Bread preferably brioche or challah
- ¼ cup Brown sugar for topping
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar.
Arrange the bread slices in a baking dish.
Pour the cream mixture over the bread, making sure all slices are well-coated.
Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the custard is set.
