  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 8 slices Bread preferably brioche or challah
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar for topping

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  3. Arrange the bread slices in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the bread, making sure all slices are well-coated.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the custard is set.
