Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 ¼ cups Warm milk
- ½ cup Warm water
- 1 teaspoon Active dry yeast
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
In another bowl, mix warm milk, warm water, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and grease crumpet rings. Pour batter into rings and cook until bubbles form on the surface. Flip and cook the other side.
