- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 1 cup Chopped Carrots
- 1 cup Chopped Celery
- 4 cups Beef Broth
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz can
- 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
