Main Ingredients
- 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1 cup Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Place the seared chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
