  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Place the seared chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
