Ingredients 

Cake

  • 1 box white cake mix plus ingredients listed on the box

Jell-O

  • 1 box Jell-O gelatin any flavor
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Topping

  • 1 container whipped topping thawed

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare and bake the cake mix according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Using a fork, poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake.
  4. In a bowl, dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in the cold water. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it gets into the holes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Spread the whipped topping over the cake. Serve chilled.
