Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 oz Semisweet Chocolate chopped
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thick and pale.
  4. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then fold in the flour until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  7. Let the cakes cool in the ramekins for 1 minute, then invert onto plates and serve immediately.
