Liege Belgian Waffles Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup Warm milk 110°F
- 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 Large eggs beaten
- 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup Pearl sugar
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs and yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
Mix in the softened butter until dough is smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
Preheat waffle iron. Knead pearl sugar into the dough. Divide dough into 4 portions.
Cook waffles in preheated waffle iron until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per waffle.
