Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • cup Warm milk 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup Pearl sugar

Instructions 

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs and yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
  3. Mix in the softened butter until dough is smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat waffle iron. Knead pearl sugar into the dough. Divide dough into 4 portions.
  5. Cook waffles in preheated waffle iron until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per waffle.
