Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Lemons organic, if possible
  • 1 liter Vodka high proof
  • 3.5 cups Water
  • 2.5 cups Sugar

Instructions 

  1. Peel the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
  2. Place the lemon peels in a large jar and pour vodka over them. Seal the jar and let it infuse for 7 days.
  3. After 7 days, strain the lemon peels from the vodka.
  4. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves to make a simple syrup. Let it cool.
  5. Mix the simple syrup with the infused vodka. Bottle the limoncello and store in the freezer.
