Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

- 8 slices Bread white or whole wheat
- 4 slices Ham
- 4 slices Turkey
- 4 slices Swiss Cheese
- 2 large Eggs beaten
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar for dusting
- ½ cup Raspberry Jam for serving
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Assemble the sandwiches by layering a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, and a slice of Swiss cheese between two slices of bread.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove from the skillet and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with raspberry jam.
