Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
  • 6 Bacon slices chopped
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 Eggs large
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg ground

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  3. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Spread bacon and cheese evenly over the pie crust.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
