Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crab meat fresh or canned
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Sherry

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually add chicken broth, whisking constantly until smooth.
  4. Add milk and heavy cream, continue to whisk until well combined.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add crab meat, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  7. Stir in sherry and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
