Main Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ¼ cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
- ¼ cup parsley, chopped fresh
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 lb linguine or spaghetti cooked according to package instructions
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Stir in the cooked pasta and parsley, and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
