Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 4 slices Cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your griddle or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. 2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form into loose balls.
  3. 3. Place the beef balls on the hot griddle and smash them flat with a spatula.
  4. 4. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.
  6. 6. Toast the burger buns on the griddle until golden brown.
  7. 7. Assemble the burgers and serve immediately.
