Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fideo pasta
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add fideo pasta and cook until golden brown.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and cumin. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
