Traditional Gyros Recipe
A classic Greek dish made with seasoned meat, fresh vegetables, and tangy tzatziki sauce, all wrapped in warm pita bread.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Lamb or Chicken sliced thin
- 4 pieces Pita Bread
- 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup Tomatoes diced
- 1 cup Onions sliced
- 1 cup Lettuce shredded
Seasoning
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. Add the sliced meat to the bowl and mix well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Grill the meat for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
5. Warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1-2 minutes.
6. Assemble the gyros by placing the grilled meat on the pita bread, then topping with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
