  • 8 cups leaf lettuce torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 slices bacon diced
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
  2. 2. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to skillet; cook and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. 3. Place lettuce in a large bowl. Pour warm dressing over lettuce; toss to coat. Sprinkle with bacon. Serve immediately.
